Sara is a delight to work with! She is compassionate, calm, grounded and has a wonderful healing touch and clear presence. She's helped support me healing through migraines and multiple shoulder and eye surgeries as well as with developing a state of more calm and ease in my system. ~ T.G.
Sara worked so beautifully with my six year old son, connecting with him in a warm and playful way that made him feel really comfortable. At the second session, he jumped up on the table, lay down and told her what he wanted her to do. I was able to notice real changes in how his body was organized after each session. ~ L.P.
I have received meaningful and significant personal growth from Sara's work. She is respectful, kind hearted, skilled and intuitive. I highly recommend her. ~ G.M.
About my work
Craniosacral Therapy is a hands-on healing modality that operates on physical and subtle energetic levels. The holistic nature of this modality can facilitate deep relaxation and restore our sense of connection and alertness. It also works to relieve chronic issues such as headaches, neck pain, jaw tension (TMD) and sciatica.
Pregnant women, newborns, infants, and children of any age can benefit greatly from Craniosacral bodywork. Skillful and caring touch can assist with reducing stress during pregnancy, nursing, latch coordination, digestion, and infant developmental movement patterns. Sessions include educational support such as baby yoga and Tummy Time tutoring, and often hands-on work with mom/dad/primary caregiver and baby together.

I was first drawn to healing and embodiment practices in my teens, when I discovered dance and devotional chanting. I began my formal training in the healing arts at the age of 20, studying massage, Polarity Therapy, and healing through nutrition and whole foods. I continued training in Deep Tissue and structural work, then turned my focus toward subtle modalities, completing the Milne Institute’s Visionary Craniosacral training. In recent years, my focus on pediatric care has expanded through work with the Craniosacral Children’s Collective and as a Tummy Time Tutor.
I understand spirituality, art, and healing as unfolding together on the path toward wholeness, and dance, yoga, singing, Buddhism, and Authentic Movement are all integral aspects of my path. I’ve practiced meditation here and in Southeast Asia with many wonderful teachers, and completed the Dedicated Practitioner and Community Dharma Leader Programs at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. I teach mindfulness and Buddhism to teens at Spirit Rock and East Bay Meditation Center in Oakland.
I am certified as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner under the guidance of Steve Hoskinson, Peter Levine, and Kathy Kain. I am currently a mentor with Steve Hoskinson in the Organic Intelligence professional training. I enjoy living in California and am grateful for the vast deserts of Arizona where I was born and raised.
